Love Prevails

We do not have to agree on everything to walk in love and work together for God's Harvest.

We Agree
All our speakers agree with and hold to the essential historical doctrines of the Church.

• We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is the final authority for all of life and doctrine.
• We believe in the Only Eternal Triune God: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
• We believe in obeying the command of Our Lord Jesus Christ, to 'go... preach the gospel to every creature' and God saves those who believe.
• We believe that the Virgin Birth, Substitutionary Life, Real Sacrificial Death, Bodily Resurrection, Physical Ascension, and Glory Soon-Coming Return of Jesus are real.
• We believe it is only by Jesus' death and resurrection do we have eternal life, and that it is necessary to be born again into a living hope.

• We believe in the power of prayer, that God listens and answers prayer.
• We believe in the necessity of the Holy Spirit to transform hearts and lives.
• We believe in the unity of the church, with Jesus Christ as the head.

Freedom and Correction

Within this, there is diversity of opinions on secondary issues as well as on the practical outworking of secondary issues. Not every view held by our speakers is necessarily held by or endorsed by the organisers of Arise. We do believe however that our speakers are genuine men and women of God and that we want to receive from them all God has prepared for us. We also recognise that God brings in others to expand our horizons and to raise us up into the fullness of Christ as revealed by His Holy Spirit in his Word, the Bible.

As we stand together in love and truth, it is our prayer that Jesus will move mightily in our midst by his Holy Spirit and raise us up as fully equipped men and women of God.
